Looking Back To Africa

Ah! While looking through my Lightroom archives I always make sure to sneak a click or two in my Africa album. It was such an eye opener for me to be able to photograph animals in their natural habitat in such a faraway place. I couldn’t believe my luck when I was asked to fly (business class mind you!) on Kenya Airways to Tanzania by the Royal Bangkok Sports Club to do an article for their magazine.
I got so excited and wanted to do my best, I rented a telephoto lens just for the occasion (EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM). But in actual fact, the focal length was not far enough for me! However, it was a blessing in disguise as I made sure to nag our guide to get even closer to the wild beasts.

Saw a herd of African elephants heading straight past us, luckily one of the babies wanted to pose for the camera.

Was great to fly into Africa! The sky was just so clear and the clouds were so fluffy. A bit shaky going through them though!
